beautifully decorated hotel, stunning gardens, spacious common areas
Poor management oversight needs addressing!!! There's too much reliance on staff without sufficient support, leading to delays and confusion around check-in and luggage retrieval!!!

During my stay, I appreciated the elegant decor and the tranquil gardens, providing a peaceful escape after my cultural explorations. The spacious common areas made it easy to relax, though a lack of air conditioning left the room warm at night. a pleasant experience.

I stayed for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and requested the same suite from our wedding. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of options and delicious food. the room we stayed in felt outdated, similar to what it was five years ago. The halls and stairs showed no signs of change, and the wallpaper looked tired. We struggled to sleep due to noise from the floor above. someone kept walking around from 4am. Eating in the evening was chaotic as staff were overwhelmed by a new management member who struggled to coordinate. Despite this, I believe that with some much-needed attention to the hotel, it could become a wonderful place again.

great vibes and comfy chairs!
Massive room with 2 super comfy armchairs and a nice little coffee table. The view of the grounds and lake was just awesome—so peaceful! Only bummer was getting hyped for football on Sky Sports and then seeing a blank screen. Oh, and the restaurant was nice—perfect for a chill meal after exploring!

we had a lovely big room which was super comfy and clean, great parking too. the decor is nice and made us feel relaxed, felt more like staying in a grand house than a hotel. breakfast was included and it was pretty good. really close to where we needed to catch our cruise from, which was super handy.
the only downsides were that there was no air con in the room which made it kinda warm at night and the pillows were a bit too deep for my liking. also, we had to wait a bit too long for dinner service, not great.
